It was good resort

A perfect getaway place to have quality time with family. It's a hidden gem of moal boal. Thank you to the restaurant staff who were very kind to us. Especially to Ms. Lichar and Sir Vince. The rate is very reasonable. Kids and wife really enjoyed our stay. We will come back there. See you next month guys!

Such an amazing stay at this private resort. It was a bit difficult to get to as it’s a 20 minute or so ride to town or Panagsama road. We booked a garden villa with an outdoor patio/terrace up front direct on their website. They were very responsive via email and Whatsapp. The room had an indoor/outdoor room vibe. We felt really safe as there were security 24/7 and there weren’t a lot of villas in the resort. It honestly felt like our own resort. The water pressure wasn’t so strong for our shower so don’t expect much given that the resort is a bit remote, though housekeeping did a good job of maintaining cleanliness of our room. They have a restaurant with amazing breakfast food that was included in the stay. However, their lunch and dinner options were very limited. Most, if not all of their foods were not available. A drive into town costs 600 pesos roundtrip so I suggest planning ahead. The location was also great as it was literally by White beach and steps away from the area where people usually gather for the sunset, which was beautiful and totally recommend checking it out besides the shore near the resort. Overall, we thought the stay was amazing due to incredible staff, especially the front desk who were very helpful from the beginning until the end of our stay. We had a hard time reaching out to our next accommodation in another island and they were all so helpful! We didn’t have cash and an associate suggested alternative options out of her own pocket which shows how much they go above and beyond. One suggestion for the resort is to have a package on airport transfer included with the room fee because I can only imagine what’s keeping guests from booking the resort is it’s location and transportation fee of 4500 pesos per trip. Moalboal is already a 3-4 hour drive from Cebu City, and from the town, it takes 20-30 minutes to get to the resort.

We were so excited to stay at Club Serena Resort, but to our shock we were in for a surprise. The resort was much more dilapidated than the pictures suggested. This would have been fine, except our room had not been treated for mosquitos. We got bitten to death while we slept! We were disappointed in the food options as we wanted to try the food but unfortunately they were often lacking ingredients. The shower head was broken and when we asked about it, they never fixed it. The pipes were also corroded and rusty. We were just so disappointed as it was marketed - through price and photo - as a fantastic beach getaway. What we got were mosquitoes, rust, and an ocean full of garbage. It was too expensive for what it was. The only redeeming feature of this trip were the staff. They were so lovely and (for the most part) tried their best to make our stay comfortable.

My Titas from Canada and US together with my Cousin who work from Dubia and other cousins decided to have a beach break after the wake of my Tita so we all decided to try Club Serena Resort. It was the best choice we had because we had rested and enjoyed a lot. The accomodation was perfect and the staff was so accomodating that it turns our mini vacation in a perfect gate away. Everyone love the place despite the slight problem of the wifi because of its serene place that its almost a private resort for us even there are other guest. We surely go back in this place.

Great small resort in Moalboal, no so hard to find in the north side, the beach is really good, good spots for snorkeling, saw some sardines in the mornings. Staff very helpful, room clean and tidy, restaurant offers different choices of food for local and westerns! Nice experience
